Bisons Knock Off Indians, 7-2
|
The Buffalo Bisons beat the Indianapolis Indians, 7-2. Buffalo pitcher and San Mateo, California, native Brian Harvey led the way. With the win, Buffalo goes to 8-9.
Buffalo used the bat of Matt Formosa to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bisons ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"Anytime we get it going, it puts a smile on my face," said Formosa.
