Juan Canarena had a big 2-run double for the Nationals in the top of the second inning. With Potomac trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from 24-year old right-handed pitcher R.J. MacLean and swatted a double to right. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Nationals ahead, 2-1.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Potomac skipper Cruz Mares.
