The Toledo Mud Hens dealt the Indianapolis Indians a 6-5 loss in 10 innings at Fifth Third Field. Ben Schultz was the star on offense. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. The win gives Toledo a season record of 38-35.

The Mud Hens got a clutch hit from right fielder Rodolfo Martinez. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Mud Hens.

"You play a lot of one-run games," said Toledo skipper Jesse Hansen, "and it seems there's one play somewhere in there that changes the game."
