Chiefs Win, 5-2, Extend Streak to 4 Games

The Syracuse Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bisons, 5-2, in International League action at Coca-Cola Field. Syracuse pitcher Mike Carr had a standout performance. Syracuse reliever Mike Carr, who is rated as the 42nd best prospect by BNN, was credited with the win. His record goes to 3-0. Logan Parker took the loss for Buffalo. Alvin Janosky recorded the save for Syracuse, his 9th of the season.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Josh Long? The Syracuse catcher had a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Chiefs on top, 4-1. For the game, Long had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
