The home crowd had a good time watching the Charlotte Knights and Toledo Mud Hens get after it.

The Toledo Mud Hens beat the Charlotte Knights, 5-3, at Fifth Third Field. Nelson Reyes went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The 27-year old second baseman was a menace to Charlotte all day. Alexis Javier was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Steven Floyd.

Third Baseman Rick Roberts made an impact for Toledo, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Steven Floyd in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, Roberts was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
