Clippers Stay Hot, Beat Tides, 5-4
The Columbus Clippers did just enough to sneak past the Norfolk Tides, 5-4, at Huntington Park. Columbus pitcher Brian Foody, in particular, had a standout performance. Earning his 1st save of the year was Zach Cooper. Columbus goes to 11-6 with the win.

The Clippers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Mike Tamburello. For the game, Tamburello went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Columbus a 5-4 lead.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Norfolk manager Alfredo Rojas. "But we decided not to take it."
