The Indianapolis Indians stopped the Louisville Bats, 4-0, at Victory Field. The Indians got a big game from Andrew Rising, who was 3-3 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The setback makes Louisville 37-37.
With Indianapolis leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Rising came up to bat against Louisville pitcher Eric Ryan. Rising hit a changeup to center for a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Indians on top, 3-0.
"Good win for us," said Rising. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
