Chiefs Get One-Run Win at Scranton WB
In a tight contest at PNC Field, the Syracuse Chiefs edged the Scranton WB RailRiders by the score of 5-4. Syracuse catcher Alberto Echeverria, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The first-place Chiefs now sit at 43-30.

Syracuse used a well-timed hit by Enrique Alamilla to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Chiefs ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Echeverria said.
