Donahue Helps Knights Defeat Braves, 8-3
A 5-RBI performance from Randy Donahue, who is tied for 5th in the IL in RBI with 44, helped the Charlotte Knights beat the Gwinnett Braves, 8-3. Charlotte is last in the South Division with a record of 34-42.

Donahue contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Charlotte in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Donahue took a fastball from Marc Anderson and stroked the home run to left. His 15th home run of the season allowed the Knights to leap in front, 3-1.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Donahue told a Charlotte Bulletin reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
