Bisons Sting Red Wings, 2-0
|
Buffalo got a first-rate effort from pitcher Jonathan McBride, who frustrated Rochester hitters en route to a 2-0 Bisons triumph at Coca-Cola Field. Buffalo currently is in first place in the North Division at 51-27.
The Bisons got a big at-bat from left fielder Matt Formosa. For the game, Formosa went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Buffalo a 2-0 lead.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Buffalo manager Clayton Beaulieu.
