The Toledo Mud Hens outlasted Reynaldo Barragan and the Gwinnett Braves, 10-9, in 11 innings. Barragan was impressive in the loss. The Gwinnett pitcher threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs. Jon Ballantine was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Jeff Hartzell. The losing streak for Gwinnett has now reached 4 games.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 11th, 24-year old left fielder Miguel Grado had a chance to be the hero. Gwinnett pitcher Matt Rauscher had other ideas. But with one out, Grado drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Mud Hens had themselves a dramatic win.

"This place was electric at the end," Grado said.
