Knights Drop Close One Late
The Charlotte Knights and Toledo Mud Hens provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Toledo Mud Hens outlasted the Charlotte Knights, 7-6, in 10 innings. J.D. Dadswell provided some punch at the plate for Toledo. He was 4 for 6 with 4 singles. Manny Villareal picked up the win in relief. John Wright took the loss for Charlotte.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Dadswell delivered big-time for Toledo, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off John Wright. The game-changing hit put the Mud Hens on top, 6-5.

"Exciting game to play in," said Dadswell. "Getting the win makes it even better."

The Mud Hens raised their record to 44-33.
