Charlotte Beats Indianapolis, 3-1
|
Conditions were not ideal but Charlotte and Indianapolis were able to put their game in the books.
Charlotte registered a win at BB&T Stadium by beating the Indianapolis Indians, 3-1. Pitcher Jake Naramore was one reason why the Knights triumphed. The winning pitcher was Naramore, now 7-2. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5.
The Knights prevailed in a game in which the pitchers had the upper hand.
"I felt good out of the gates," said Naramore.
