Higashi Electric in Lehigh Valley Win
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs got a stellar performance from pitcher Jinrou Higashi, who handcuffed the Scranton WB offense en route to a win, 5-1, at PNC Field. Lehigh Valley goes to 40-41, Scranton WB to 34-46.

Higashi, who is tied for 3rd in the IL in innings pitched with 117.1, pitched a complete game for Lehigh Valley. Higashi surrendered 4 hits over 9 innings and struck out 11. With the win, he moves to 9-6 on the season.

In comments to the Lehigh Valley Today, Higashi admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
