Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Scranton WB RailRiders and Buffalo Bisons.

Nate Merritt pitched a gem in leading Scranton WB to a 3-1 victory over the Buffalo Bisons. Danny Stewart sewed up the save, his 14th.

Scranton WB starter Nate Merritt pitched like a boss. The 5-foot-9 right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 8.2 innings.

"We had trouble making good contact against Nate," said Buffalo manager Casey Bac.

At 35-47, the RailRiders claim last place in the North Division.
