Scranton WB Tumbles Again, Falls, 7-1, to Syracuse
The Syracuse Chiefs topped the Scranton WB RailRiders, 7-1, in International League action at NBT Bank Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Syracuse pitcher and Clifton, New Jersey, native Ryushin Grattan. Grattan got the win, improving to 8-2. He gave up 2 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. With the win, Syracuse pushed its record to 42-39.

In the bottom of the second, Syracuse right fielder Jake Krause had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and no one out, Krause stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 4-0, Syracuse. For the game, he was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs.
