Knights Topple Bulls with Late Rally
The Charlotte Knights and Durham Bulls obliged fans looking for a good time.

The Durham Bulls got a sterling performance from center fielder Dennis Wilkes, but the Charlotte Knights still prevailed, 6-5. Wilkes was 3 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times. With the win over Durham, the Knights improved to 45-38.

Matt Bauer was 2-3 with a double and a walk for Charlotte. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, Bauer had a clutch at-bat. Facing Durham hurler Gary Barnard, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Knights a 6-5 lead.

"This team is real focused right now," said Charlotte manager Arturo de la Rosa.
