Indianapolis 3-1 Losers to Mud Hens
The Indianapolis Indians could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Albert de Leon into a win. Instead, the Toledo Mud Hens prevailed, 3-1. de Leon threw 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball. Toledo reliever Diego Garzon picked up the win, upping his record to 9-3. Albert de Leon took the loss. Matthew Robert earned the save for Toledo, his 5th of the year.

Bobby Newman had a big 2-run triple for the Mud Hens in the top of the second inning. With Toledo leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a sinker from Albert de Leon and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Mud Hens ahead, 3-0.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Mud Hens manager Will Esparza, "I like our chances."

The Mud Hens sit in second place in the West Division with a record of 48-33.
