SeaWolves Lose Contest, 7-6
Erie third baseman Rob Castillo was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Altoona beat the SeaWolves, 7-6. Altoona reliever J.R. Purcell picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Elijah Moore absorbed the loss. After losing, Erie is 5-3.

An inflection point occurred with one out in the bottom of the fifth. That's when Curve designated hitter Cameron McMillan hit a fastball from Elijah Moore for a 2-run single. Just like that, Altoona was up, 5-4.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Altoona skipper Gerardo Zarco.
