Riding the 2-hit performance of the 25-year old first baseman Cameron Middleton, the Rochester Red Wings stopped the Pawtucket Red Sox, 12-2. The loss makes Pawtucket 44-42.

Rochester used a well-timed hit by Jason Duren to capture the win. The left fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Red Wings ahead, 3-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Not much went right for us," Pawtucket manager David Larson said, when asked afterward about the game.
