Red Sox Suffer 4-3 Loss to Chiefs

Syracuse Chiefs starter Josh Wright was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Pawtucket Red Sox, 4-3. Alvin Mendez earned the save for Syracuse, his 10th. The Chiefs now own a record of 42-44.
Tyler Block, the Syracuse left fielder, contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the first inning to make the score 2-0, Chiefs. For the game, Block was 1-4.
"The vibe's good," said Syracuse manager Ernesto Miramontes. "We've got to keep it going."
