Pawtucket Loses Again, 2-1
|
Pawtucket got a valiant performance from pitcher Edgar Pereira, but it wasn't enough to beat the Rochester Red Wings. Rochester won the game, 2-1. Pereira threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The winner was Rochester reliever Nick Bruhl, now 6-4. The loser was Edgar Pereira. Jaden Moore nailed down his 4th save.
Danny Jacob had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Rochester. He came through with a 2-run single to put Rochester in front, 2-1.
Jacob said his team "played with determination."
