Tony Aguirre pitched well, but his team, the Columbus Clippers, still dropped a 4-2 decision to the Charlotte Knights at Huntington Park. Columbus now owns a losing streak of 5 games.

The Knights got a big at-bat from designated hitter Edwin Acosta. For the game, Acosta went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Charlotte a 3-1 lead.
