IronPigs Suffer 2-1 Setback
|
The Pawtucket Red Sox picked up a win at McCoy Stadium, knocking off the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 2-1. Starting pitcher Danny Urista was a big reason why. The loss makes Lehigh Valley 21-70.
Dan McCartney, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2095 draft, chipped in for Pawtucket with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 1 RBI.
"The want-to is there for our guys," said Lehigh Valley manager Marcus Failing. "We'll get this thing turned around."
