Despite a great performance by Buffalo second baseman John Carr, the Scranton WB RailRiders defeated the Bisons by the score of 8-7 at Coca-Cola Field. Carr was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Getting the save was David Hanks, his 14th. Scranton WB has a record of 50-43, placing them second in the North Division.

The game was at a stalemate until center fielder Bobby Brown came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Buffalo pitcher Mario Manzo, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Scranton WB on top, 8-6.

"Winning never gets dull," said Brown.
