The Mud Hens grabbed a win, 4-1, at Victory Field, overcoming a fine effort from Indianapolis pitcher Malik Barry. Barry went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs. Toledo, at 48-46, holds down third place in the West Division.

Toledo used the timely hitting of Rick Roberts to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Mud Hens ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

In postgame remarks, Roberts applauded his team's "business-like approach."
