Indians Reel Off Another Win
|
The Indianapolis Indians beat the Toledo Mud Hens, 9-4, at Victory Field. The Indians got a fine performance from designated hitter Casey Ketter, who was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Adrian Snoeberger, the winner, improved to 5-2. He held the Mud Hens to no runs on 5 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 1. The current losing streak for Toledo has reached 5 games.
With Indianapolis leading 5-3 in the bottom of the seventh, Ketter hit a sinker from Leonardo Duran for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Indians ahead, 9-3.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Ketter.
