Rochester pitcher Tony Macias had a large part in his team subduing the Durham Bulls, 7-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Macias, now 8-6, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing no runs. The third-place Bulls now sit at 46-49.

Rochester used a clutch at-bat from Alex Ybarra to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Red Wings ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I think it speaks for itself, I think we came out and we played our kind of baseball," said Macias.
