A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Durham Bulls and Buffalo Bisons.

Tony Severs, who is tied for 9th in the IL with a 1.17 WHIP, was locked in. The right-hander led the Durham Bulls to a 5-2 win against the Buffalo Bisons at Coca-Cola Field. Durham raised its record to 56-42 with the win.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Danny Ba? The 27-year old left fielder Ba stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put Durham up, 5-2. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"It was our day today," Ba told the Durham News. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
