Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Mets
The Binghamton Mets got a magnificent performance from pitcher Seth Jones, who muffled the Richmond offense en route to a tight 2-1 Mets win at NYSEG Stadium. Danny Bustos earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record is now 1-0. Binghamton, now 6-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.

The Mets procured the win, in large part because of second baseman Adam Mamo. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Brian Lees, the Binghamton manager.
