Mud Hens Need Extra Frames to Get Past IronPigs
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs got a sterling performance from pitcher Jinrou Higashi, but the Toledo Mud Hens still prevailed, 4-1. Higashi threw 7.0 innings of 2-hit ball. The 4th-place IronPigs now sit at 49-51.

Toledo used a timely hit from Kyle Neal to get the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Mud Hens ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Neal.
