Garton goes 4-for-5 in Braves Win
Colin Garton was a vital contributor to the 7-5 Gwinnett victory over Syracuse. The Braves second baseman was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 triples, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Gwinnett pitcher Devin Glassman got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Pedro Munoz got the loss. The win moves Gwinnett to a record of 11-9.

Had Eduardo Pabon not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Pabon hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Braves.
