Indians Topple IronPigs, 5-1, as Wallace Shines
Kevin Wallace made an impact in the 5-1 Indianapolis win over Lehigh Valley. Wallace, who is tied for 4th in the IL in runs scored with 53, was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Indianapolis pitcher Bill Gourd got the win. He's now 2-2. Alex Agramonte was tagged with the loss. With the win, Indianapolis raised its record to 57-44.

Wallace had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-0 fastball from Alex Agramonte, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Indians a 2-1 lead. It was the 25th home run of the year for Wallace.

Wallace called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
