The Scranton WB RailRiders racked up a win at Victory Field, bumping off the Indianapolis Indians, 8-2. Elijah Wood, who started for Scranton WB, pitched effectively for his team. Scranton WB is now 54-48.

Scranton WB used the bat of Jared Brown to get the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the RailRiders ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Brown told the Scranton WB Daily News.
