RailRiders Topple Knights with Late Rally
Scranton WB registered a win at PNC Field by beating the Charlotte Knights, 4-3. Pitcher Jose Cruz was one reason why the RailRiders triumphed. Scranton WB reliever Matthew Berning picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Joe Roe absorbed the loss. The win puts Scranton WB at 37-65.

The decisive blow was delivered by Alex Curiel in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off fireballing right-hander Joe Roe to win the game for Scranton WB. The home crowd went nuts.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Cruz.
