Bisons Win Streak Now at 7 After 8-2 Victory
The Buffalo Bisons locked up a win at BB&T Stadium, knocking off the Charlotte Knights, 8-2. On the mound for Buffalo was left-hander Jay Sebastian. He played a major role in the triumph. Buffalo reliever Jay Sebastian got the win, raising his record to 6-6. Bill Van Norden was tagged with the loss. The Bisons go to 64-40, putting them first in the North Division.

The Bisons got a big hit from designated hitter Alex Orellana. Facing Charlotte pitcher Freddie Watrous in the top of the sixth, Orellana pounded a 3-run home run to right. His 16th home run of the season put the Bisons ahead, 8-2.

"Jay's a trooper," said Buffalo manager Casey Bac. "He always gives it all he's got."
