Garza Powers Knights to 11-3 Win
The Charlotte Knights romped over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 11-3, at BB&T Stadium. Andres Garza led the way. He went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Charlotte. Orlando Rocha picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 3 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 11. On the season, he is now 2-1. The win gives the Knights a record of 12-7.

Devlyn Farrell had a big 2-run double for the Knights in the bottom of the second inning. With Charlotte leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Art LaBrie and swatted a double to left. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Knights ahead, 3-0.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said Charlotte skipper Arturo de la Rosa.
