The Charlotte Knights handed the Toledo Mud Hens a 6-5 defeat at BB&T Stadium. Left Fielder Chris Germano starred for Charlotte. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Charlotte raised its record to 54-51 with the win.

Sean Weisman was the walk-off hero for Charlotte. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Knights designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was electric at the end," Weisman said.
