The Toledo Mud Hens went down to defeat to Josh Wright and his Syracuse teammates. The final score was 4-1 in favor of the Chiefs. Had it not been for Pat Esker, the results might have been different. In the bottom of the seventh inning, when the Chiefs were trailing 1-0, Esker hit a 2-run single for Syracuse, giving his team the lead.
