The Lehigh Valley IronPigs topped the Indianapolis Indians, 7-3, with left fielder Chris Gaughan playing a big role. Gaughan was 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 times for the IronPigs in the win. Jeremy Fletcher, now 3-5, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Lehigh Valley goes to 28-78, Indianapolis to 57-49.

Mike Hadley provided a timely hit. The Lehigh Valley shortstop delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the IronPigs on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
