Multi-HR Game for Pitts in 5-2 Win
Chris Pitts impressed in the 5-2 Charlotte win over Buffalo. Pitts, who is tied for 10th in the IL in home runs with 13, hit 3 home runs. Ryan Broughton picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 12. On the season, he is now 5-8. With the victory, the Knights upped their record to 55-51.

Chris Germano had a big run-scoring triple for the Knights in the bottom of the third inning. With Charlotte leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he got a sinker from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Alfredo Gonzalez and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 7th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Knights ahead, 3-1.

Germano called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
