Behind Brace, Columbus Blanks Charlotte, 8-0
|
It was a quiet day for the Charlotte Knights at BB&T Stadium -- a little too quiet. Columbus Clippers starter Dustin Brace silenced the Knights, holding them to 4 hits and keeping them scoreless in a complete-game 8-0 win.
"It was frustrating against Brace today," Charlotte manager Nick Zlomke said.
The Columbus starting pitcher walked 2 and allowed 4 hits while fanning 3.
This year, Brace has a 9-6 record and a 3.12 ERA.
