Red Wings Take Down Knights, 3-2
The Rochester Red Wings wiggled past the Charlotte Knights, 3-2, at BB&T Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Rochester pitcher Victor Gonzalez. Rochester reliever Paul King picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Tristen Campbell shouldered the loss. At 56-51, the Red Wings claim 5th place in the North Division.

Rochester used the timely hitting of Justin Bradshaw to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Red Wings on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Mark Seyler, the Rochester skipper. "This one tested us."
