The Charlotte Knights got a sterling performance from pitcher Chad Muha, but the Buffalo Bisons still prevailed, 3-2. Muha threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. With the victory, the Bisons upped their record to 56-51.

Buffalo needed the clutch hitting of Steve Culley to notch the win. The second baseman hammered a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bisons on top, 3-2. For the game, Culley had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
