Syracuse Charts 4-3 Win Over Lehigh Valley
The Syracuse Chiefs had to overcome a fine effort from Lehigh Valley pitcher Antonio Torres to win, 4-3, at NBT Bank Stadium. Torres went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. Mike DeWolfe snagged the win in relief. He goes to 4-1 on the season. Rich Gilbert suffered the loss. Syracuse occupies 5th place in the North Division at 53-56.

Alvaro Castillo contributed to the Syracuse win with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
