|
Indianapolis designated hitter Kevin Wallace had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Toledo Mud Hens, 6-2. The winner in relief was Pat Utterback. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3 innings. He now owns a record of 8-1. With the win, the Indians improved to 60-49.
Carlos Martinez, the 27-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Martinez contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the tenth inning to put Indianapolis up, 3-2.
