Bats Blank Clippers, Tobar Wins
|
It was a quiet day for the Columbus Clippers at Huntington Park -- a little too quiet. Louisville Bats starter Allen Tobar silenced the Clippers, holding them to 2 hits and keeping them scoreless in a complete-game 10-0 win.
"It was frustrating against Tobar today," Columbus manager Dan Goldthwaite said.
The Louisville starting pitcher walked 4 and allowed 2 hits while fanning 10.
So far this season, Tobar has a record of 6-4 with 115 strikeouts and 37 walks in 108 innings and a 3.50 ERA.
