Chiefs first baseman Edgar Galvan left his imprint on his team's 14-1 win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Galvan was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for Syracuse in the contest. Syracuse pitcher Mario Gutierrez earned the win, hiking his record to 5-1. Dave Simmons suffered the loss. The last-place IronPigs dropped to 43-68.
