Spears Leads RailRiders to 15-4 Win Over Bisons
With right fielder Dustin Spears leading the charge, the Scranton WB RailRiders defeated the Buffalo Bisons, 15-4, at PNC Field. Spears, who is tied for 2nd in the IL with a .371 on-base percentage, went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 2. Scranton WB starter Joe Long was credited with the win after throwing 114 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 7-12. Jaylen Allen picked up the save, his 1st.

Steven Conley made an early impact for Scranton WB when he stroked his 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which came with one out in the bottom of the third, put the RailRiders on top, 7-4.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Conley said.

The RailRiders move to 59-52 with the win, while the Bisons drop to 70-41.
