With third baseman Ryan Rynard leading the charge, the Pawtucket Red Sox defeated the Indianapolis Indians, 6-4, at Victory Field. Rynard, who is tied for 4th in the IL in triples with 2, was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Pawtucket reliever Zarion Eldridge was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Kymani Gaines took the loss. The Indians fall to 9-12 and continue to sputter in the early going.

Rynard had a game-changing double in the top of the eighth. On a 1-1 slider from Kymani Gaines, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Red Sox a 5-3 lead. It was the 4th double of the year for Rynard.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Rynard told a Pawtucket Bulletin reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
