The Scranton WB RailRiders downed the Buffalo Bisons, 3-0, at Coca-Cola Field. Stellar pitching by Ricky Roy had a lot to do with it. The right-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. John Hutchison earned the save, his 1st, for the RailRiders. The RailRiders go to 48-63, putting them last in the North Division.
Roy picked up the win. He's now 3-3, after putting the Buffalo offense in the deep freeze. Over 7 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 4 hits.
"Ricky didn't fool around out there," said Scranton WB field general Chris Carley.
