Buffalo Beats Indianapolis, 3-1
|
Buffalo and Indianapolis played a hard-fought contest.
In a well-pitched game between the Buffalo Bisons and the Indianapolis Indians, pitcher Ming-hoa Sha was superb. The Buffalo left-hander helped his team win, 3-1. The first-place Bisons, at 74-41, now lead their division by 12 games.
Jesus Flores, the 26-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Flores contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Buffalo up, 2-1.
"We'd like to put some distance between ourselves and the rest of the division," said Flores.
