McCoy Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Pawtucket Red Sox and Toledo Mud Hens.

Pawtucket starter Manny Esparza pitched well against the Toledo Mud Hens at McCoy Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Pawtucket pitcher Ray Lawler got the win, upping his record to 1-3. Alex Cofer got the loss.

Pat Bennett was the walk-off hero for Pawtucket. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Red Sox designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This game had its share of tense moments," Bennett said, postgame.

The Mud Hens are now 8-14 this season.
