The Toledo Mud Hens topped the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 4-3. Tim Wood, who is tied for 8th in the IL in wins with 10, engineered a dominant performance. The last-place Mud Hens now have a win-loss record of 51-66.

Toledo took a 4-3 lead on Mike O'Neal's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which O'Neal hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Lehigh Valley pitcher Joel Olave visibly frustrated.

Said losing manager Bryce Bissinger: "Not taking anything away from them, but we swung the bats better than what it showed."
